Drkrm. Gallery is pleased to present the Low Brow Xmas Show featuring over 30 artists from around the world. The exhibition will feature works by Keith Weesner, Coop, Skratch, Chip Foose, Max Grundy, Dennis McPhail, Mitzi Valenzuela Cardenas, Rikki Rockett, Tom Kelley, Dan Collins, Tiffany Collins, Makoto (Japan), Grimb, Tingler, Dennis Ricklef, Jeff Allison, Mr. G (Japan), Rob Struven, Sid, Mike Pike, Jo-Jo, Robert Hamilton, Nick O’ Teen, Sara Ray, Matt Antone, Tick One, Broadview Graphics, Mike Dorman, Nigel, Dan Guilday, Ric Frane, edFox, and other artists. The show offers a variety of mediums including illustration, photography, pinstriping, tattoo work and more. Drkrm Gallery has collaborated with Artist Bound Gallery to bring you their final exhibition of 2006. The Low Brow Xmas Show represents a collection of some of the best and most well known artists in the Low Brow custom culture. The Low Brow culture represents the revitalization of the 40’s hot rod era when hot rods, pinup girls and rockabilly music flourished in America. The scene has exploded today and become one of the most popular lifestyles in our society. Artists involved in this cultural dynamic are creating work that has inspired them and help pronounce what the custom culture has meant to them. Our artist reception was held on Saturday, December 16th from 7-11pm. A closing reception and art auction is scheduled on Saturday, January 6th form 7-11pm. Drkrm.
